Quadra
The physical boundary
Before / after

From open pathway to engineered barrier.

Plugging changes the physical system. Measurement establishes whether the change produced the claimed methane result.

SURFACE FORMATION OPEN ANNULUS
Before closure · potentially emitting

Methane may move through the wellbore, compromised casing, annular space, or connected surface equipment. Emissions can be intermittent and variable.

RESTORED FORMATION CEMENT BARRIER SURFACE PLUG
After closure · pathway removed

Engineered cement barriers isolate the hydrocarbon-bearing formation, the casing is cut below grade, and the surface is restored. Post-plug measurement establishes what changed.

A controlled sequence

Target. Measure. Plug. Verify. Monitor.

Each step narrows uncertainty. None can substitute for another.

01 · Concentration

Start where the methane is.

Screen marginal, idle, and legacy wells for abnormal emissions. Confirm the source, the legal right to intervene, and whether continued operation is economically plausible.
